If it’s all starting to go wrong. Stop. Have a nice cuppa tea. Or coffee. Or hot chocolate. Anything that gives you something to be busy with preparing. Making a hot drink is something most of us are familiar with doing, so it’s a great opportunity to do something right in the midst of things going wrong.It’ll take your mind off the problem at hand.
Most importantly it’s an opportunity to stop digging yourself into whatever hole you might currently be excavating. Plus it’ll rehydrate you. You only feel thirsty when you’ve already lost 2% of your body’s total fluids. Sit down and drink. This will give you time to calm down a reassess your situation. When you decide to act, you’ll be in a better position to do the next right thing.
